Organization - Analytics

This article covers what Organization Analytics is, who it's for, and the key capabilities available on the page.

The Analytics page combines four core visualizations — time spent on the platform, users logged in, inactive users, and adoption rate by school — with Ask Kira, a chat panel pinned on the right that answers natural language questions about the same data.

You can filter to the last 7, 30, or 90 days, segment by staff or student, and ask Kira follow-up questions like “which schools have the lowest login rates?” or “show me teachers who haven't logged in this week” — all without leaving the page.

Organization Analytics is available to all organization admins — at the school, district, region, or country level — across every Kira org. This includes the El Salvador partnership and any other multi-school deployment.

See total hours and the average time per active user per day, along with period-over-period change so you can tell at a glance whether engagement is trending up or down. A daily trend line compares the current period directly against the prior one.

See unique users in the selected period as a share of your total rostered users. A stacked daily bar chart splits activity by staff and student, and a 7-day rolling average smooths out day-to-day noise so you can see the real trend.

A table lists every user with no login activity in the selected window. You can sort by name, role, school, or last login date, and toggle between staff and student views — making it easy to identify exactly who needs a nudge.

See per-school student and teacher adoption (logged in versus total) with color-coded progress bars and sortable columns, plus clear headline percentages for the organization as a whole. This makes it simple to spot which schools are leading and which need more support.

Global filters apply across every chart on the page at once, so you're always looking at a consistent view:

Every visualization also offers a toggle between chart view and tabular view, so you can switch to raw numbers whenever that's more useful than a visual.

Pinned to the right of the page, Ask Kira lets you skip manual digging and just ask for what you need. On first open, you'll see suggested prompts to get started, or you can type your own free-form question — scoped automatically to your organization's data. Ask things like:
