The Organization Library gives org admins a way to promote the best resources in their organization so every teacher can find and use them — no manual assignment required. Once a resource is added to the library, it becomes visible and usable to every teacher in the organization.
What is the Organization Library?
The Organization Library is a curated content surface. From the existing All Resources table, an admin selects one or many published resources and adds them to the library. Those resources then appear in a dedicated, browsable library for the whole organization — and teachers see an Organization Library of their own, where they can discover endorsed content and use it in their classes without waiting for an admin to assign it directly.
This is the second phase of the Organizations resources work. The first phase gave admins a flat table of every resource plus bulk assignment. This phase adds the missing layer of curation: a clear way for an admin to say, “these are the resources every teacher here should know about.”
Why it matters
Until now, the All Resources view has been a flat list of everything published in the organization, with no way to curate, promote, or signal which resources are org-endorsed. That left two gaps:
Admins had no mechanism to highlight the resources every teacher should be using.
Teachers had no visibility into org-level content unless an admin assigned it directly to their class.
The Organization Library closes both gaps. It also removes the need for Kira's team to manually script content into an organization, since internal teams can now populate the library directly.
Who is affected?
This is primarily an org admin capability, with a teacher-facing benefit. It's most relevant to large district and country-level customers who want a consistent, endorsed content set across many teachers — such as the El Salvador national program.
Admins curate the library.
Teachers across the organization gain a new Organization Library page, where they can browse endorsed resources and make their own copy to teach from.
Students are not affected directly.
Key capabilities
Promote one resource, or many at once
Admins can add resources to the Organization Library right from the All Resources table — using a plus icon on a single row, or multi-select with a bottom toolbar to promote several resources at once.
No duplicate additions
The All Resources table clearly marks which resources are already in the library with a checkmark, so admins always know what's already promoted and never end up adding the same resource twice.
A browsable, curated library page
The Organization Library itself is a card-based, browsable page with search, filters, and aggregate metrics. Admins can also curate a featured carousel by pinning specific resources to the top of the page.
Remove access anytime, without side effects
Admins can remove a resource from the library at any time. Doing so revokes org-wide visibility, but it doesn't affect any existing assignments or student work already in progress.
A dedicated page for teachers
Teachers get their own Organization Library page where they can browse endorsed resources, preview them, and use a Use Lesson action to create a personal copy — which they can then assign to their own classes.
Ownership stays with the original creator
Promoting a resource creates a reference to the original rather than a copy. This means the original teacher keeps ownership of their work, and any updates they publish flow through automatically to the library version everyone else sees.
Kira's team can populate your library directly
Kira's internal team can add resources directly into an organization's library, which removes the need for manual scripting when setting up curated content for a customer.
