Navigate to the “Classes” tab from the left-hand navigation menu.
Select the “+” button at the top of the Classes page.
From the pop-up modal, select “Sync from your Provider”.
Expand the “Sync from your Provider” option and input your LMS source. Your ClassLink classes will appear in the second dropdown titled "Search for classes".
Select the class you would like to input into Kira and then select “Import”. Your ClassLink class will appear as a “class” in Kira. Each Kira class is represented by a card on the left side of your screen.
After you’ve imported your ClassLink class into Kira, the students in that ClassLink class will appear in the “Students” section of your Kira class. If your school uses ClassLink integration with Kira, adding students is managed through ClassLink. To add a new student:
Add the student to the appropriate roster in ClassLink.
Wait for the ClassLink rosters to sync with Kira. Once the sync is complete, the student will automatically appear in the corresponding class in Kira. Note that direct addition of students within Kira is not supported when ClassLink integration is enabled. To manually remove a student who has dropped the class:
Click the three dots next to the student’s name.
Select Remove from the dropdown menu. To re-sync a class roster in Kira:
Navigate to the Classes section in Kira.
Select the class you want to update.
Click the Resync button. This process will pull in any new students added to the roster. However, it does not automatically remove students who have dropped the class.
