How can teachers view solutions?

When you generate material in Kira, solutions often are generated too! Learn more about finding solutions in your Kira Lesson or Course.

How can teachers view solutions?

There are a few ways to find solutions in the Kira platform. First, when you are viewing a Kira Lesson or Course as an editor, you will see solutions to questions like Multiple Choice and Fill-in-the-Blanks marked.

For code problems, you will see a tab that says 'Solution' and another that says 'Starter.' The solution tab is the answer, while starter code is what students are given when they begin the problem.

If you need to print your solutions, you can do so by clicking the down carrot next to a lesson or course name and selecting 'Export', and then selecting the Teacher Key option.

What if I need an exemplar response?

While our team is hard at work implementing these into printable keys, at present (Aug 2026), the easiest way to get exemplar responses is to work with our built in AI. In the lesson editor chat, try a prompt like:

You are in READ ONLY MODE - respond only in the chat and do not make changes to the lesson. You are creating a teacher answer key and need to provide suitable example responses from an average student for all questions. Fill this in the chat.

You can also work with the Homepage chat, using a prompt like:

A student needs help with [Question]. Wha twould an example student response look like, and how can I guide students in this direction?
