Lesson Plans for Lessons

Lesson Plans for each lesson are currently provided for these courses:

  • Intro to Computational Thinking and Programming (MS)
  • Intro to CS - Python (HS)

These plans provide for each lesson:

  • Lesson summary
  • Lesson targets and (TN) standards covered
  • Key vocabulary
  • Lesson overview and suggested timing for each step
  • Detailed lesson plan with unplugged and online activities, practice, and assessments

This plan provides for each unit:

Slides for Lessons

Lesson slides are currently provided for this course:

Lesson slide content includes:

  • Student-facing materials and activities that can structure the lesson. These are generally “unplugged” learning activities that support and complement the online content. (These activities are largely taken from the Teacher Guide documents.)
  • Teacher notes and resources in the Speaker Notes section of each slide. 

Guided Notes for Lessons

Guided notes are currently provided for these courses:

  • Intro to CS - Python (HS) (under construction) 

Guided notes are generally intended to be given to students to structure their note-taking while watching videos. The notes focus on key terms and concepts in each lesson.
