Tracking your progress in Kira is essential to stay on track and meet your learning goals. Here’s how you can easily check your progress in your Kira account.
1. Access Your Section

- From your dashboard, click on your section to open it
- In the course navigator, click on the "Gradebook" located at the bottom left
2. Gradebook View

- In the gradebook, you can see the percentage of the course you have completed and where you left off
- The gradebook allows you to break down your grades, showing scores for units, lessons, and steps
- Dashes indicate that you either don’t have a score or haven’t attempted that part yet
3. Checking Your Progress
- The course navigator displays what you have completed and what you haven’t. Green check marks indicate completed steps
- Once you submit a correct answer, you will automatically move on to the next step
Example Scenario
If your teacher asks you to complete Unit 1, Lesson 2 by the end of class:
1. Locate the Unit and Lesson

- Find Unit 1, Lesson 2 in the gradebook to see the number of steps you need to complete

- Use the course navigator to start on the specified lesson. For example, if you need to start with Unit 1, Lesson 2, Step 1, look for "1.2.1" in the course navigator.
- This notation means Unit 1, Lesson 2, Step 1. You can see how many steps are in each lesson and track your progress
3. Track Completion
- You will know you have completed all steps in Unit 2 when you see all green check marks or scores for each step in the gradebook
